Pour notre 1er projet nous avons voulu un projet axé sur la réussite des élèves et la coopération, ouvert sur l’Europe. Nous sommes fiers de pouvoir vous présenter notre projet et nos résultats en français et en anglais.
Grâce aux fonds alloués par Erasmus+, nous avons envoyé des personnels en mobilités individuelles, afin qu’ils améliorent leurs compétences professionnelles et interculturelles, en fassent profiter les élèves et les partagent avec les autres personnels et au delà de l’établissement.
Nous avons pensé qu’ils rapporteraient de nouveaux contacts avec des personnels et organismes pour des projets d’accueil et de mobilités individuelles et de groupes dans un avenir proche.
Nous avons cherché à développer l’ouverture internationale au lycée en choisissant comme stratégie de proposer d’abord à nos personnels de bénéficier de formations en Europe grâce à Erasmus+. Nous comptions sur leurs nouvelles compétences et sur les contacts qu’ils allaient nouer avec des personnels d’autres organismes pour faire de notre établissement un véritable lycée européen.
Nous voulions nous appuyer sur eux pour proposer à nos élèves démotivés des pratiques pédagogiques innovantes et/ou originales sur la base de ce que leurs mobilités leur auraient apporté.
Nous voulions qu’ils partagent leur expérience avec les personnels du lycée, les incitant à adopter de nouvelles pratiques, et à créer avec eux de nouveaux cours ou ateliers inclusifs.
Nous voulions développer les compétences linguistiques de personnels enseignants non-linguistes afin d’élargir notre offre de formation ainsi que celles de personnels non enseignants pour assurer une meilleure prise en charge des apprenants allophones.
Nous voulions créer des liens et monter des projets Erasmus+ avec de nouveaux partenaires rencontrés par les participants lors de leurs mobilités.
LES MOBILITES :
Tous les participants étaient des personnels enseignants titulaires, deux hommes et trois femmes, une professeure d’anglais, un professeur de mathématiques, deux professeurs de sciences économiques et sociales et une professeure d’histoire-géographie.
Les professeurs de SES sont partis en stage d’observation en immersion à l’IES Canonigo Manchon à Crevillent en Espagne.
La professeure d’anglais a suivi un stage de formation de théâtre en anglais à l’Europass Teacher Academy de Florence en Italie.
Le professeur de mathématiques a suivi un stage de formation en CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) en anglais à l’Europass Teacher Academy de Dublin en Irlande.
La professeure d’histoire-géographie a suivi un cours structuré de remise à niveau en allemand à GLS German Learning School à Berlin en Allemagne.
NOS RESULTATS :
Les professeurs de SES et de mathématiques passent la certification DNL (discipline non linguistiques) pour enseigner leur matière en langue vivante. Tous ont amélioré leurs compétences linguistiques.
La professeure d’histoire-géographie est montée en compétences en allemand, et pourra accompagner des projets de mobilités de groupe en Allemagne.
La professeure d’anglais ouvre un club théâtre en anglais en janvier 2023 et a demandé une formation académique sur la gestion du handicap afin d’inclure des apprenants à besoins particuliers.
Quatre participants sur cinq ont noué des contacts fiables avec des participants d’autres pays européens pour de futurs projets Erasmus+.
Le lycée compte maintenant 3 ERAEI (enseignants référents à l’ouverture européenne et internationale), qui encadrent un collectif d’élèves tournés vers l’Europe et l’écologie, PMF Active for Climate, ainsi que des eurodélégués participant au rayonnement de l’Europe au lycée et en dehors lors d’évènements avec la DAREIC (Direction Académique de l’Action Internationale) et avec le Service International de la ville de la Roche sur Yon labélisé Europe Direct Vendée
Le lycée a initié un projet eTwinning sur l’environnement en 2020 avec des lycées danois et espagnols. Il participe actuellement à un projet hybride lancé par un nouveau lycée partenaire, et a soumis un projet d’accréditation Erasmus+ en octobre 2022.
ENGLISH VERSION
We are a highly motivated team of a French secondary school staff convinced opening up our school to Europe is necessary. We are proud to present you with our project. This project has shown our true ambition to develop our organisation internationally.
Our school, lycée Pierre Mendès-France, is located in la Roche sur Yon, a medium-sized size city in a rural department, far from intercultural exchanges and mobility despite a rich and varied course offering.
We imagined a project involving students’ achievement, cooperation, opening to Europe.
Thanks to Erasmus+ funds we decided to send staff in individual mobilities, for them to improve intercultural and professional skills that they could share with our school’s learners, personnel, and even people outside the school. We believed they would bring new contacts with personnel and organisations for new Erasmus+ projects of individual or group mobilities in a close future.
We have tried to develop European opening in our school by choosing as a strategy to offer our staff to benefit from training and job shadowing in Europe thanks to Erasmus+.
We counted on their new skills and on the new relations they would build with participants from other organisations to turn our school into a true European high school.
We wanted to rely on them to offer our demotivated learners innovative and/or original educational practices based on their experiences during the mobility.
We wanted them to share their experience with our school’s staff, thus inciting them to adopt new learning methods and to create new courses and workshops.
We wanted to develop the language skills of teachers whose subject is not a foreign language so as to diversify our course offer, and those of non-teaching staff for them to be able to ensure a better support of allophones learners.
We wanted to create bonds and develop Erasmus+ projects with new partners that the participants would have met during their mobilities.
THE MOBILITIES:
All the participants were teachers, two men and three women, an English teacher, a mathematics teacher, two teachers of economics and social sciences and a history and geography teacher.
The teachers of economics went for a job-shadowing in the I.E.S. Canonigo Manchon in Crevillent in Spain.
The English teacher attended a practical training about drama in education in Europass Teacher Academy in Florence, Italy.
The maths teacher attended a course of Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in Europass Teacher Academy in Dublin, Ireland.
The history and geography teacher attended German language training courses so as to improve her level of her communication skills in German in Berlin, Germany.
OUR RESULTS:
The teachers in economics and social sciences along with the maths teacher will take the exam to pass the professional certification to teach their subjects in Spanish and in English. All of them have improved their communication skills in a foreign language.
The history and geography teacher enhanced her communication skills in German and will be able to develop projects on learners’ mobilities in Germany.
The English teacher is opening an English-speaking drama club and wants to create a workshop for learners with special needs.
4 out of 5 participants have built reliable relations with participants from other countries in view of developing future Erasmus+ projects.
Our school has now 3 international opening referents who support an environmentally-sensitive and European-friendly collective of learners interested in Europe « PMF Active for Climate », as well as a group of young « European representatives », who participate in the European influence in our school and outside during European events with the DAREIC (Academic Service for international development) and with the International service of the city of La Roche sur Yon, labelled Europe Direct Vendée
Our school initiated an eTwinning project about climate change in 2020 with Danish and Spanish partners and is now developing a new hybrid project launched by a new partner. We also submitted an accreditation project in october 2022.
